Resident Artists Program

Resident Artists Program

This is a special program offered for emerging and experienced artists who don't really need a class but who want the space, time, flexibility and facilities they need to develop their own work and their own creative voice at their own pace. (Not incidentally, "Resident Artist" looks good on a resume and can help when applying for work/study programs at places like Penland and Arrowmont.) With their enrollment, all resident artists receive free open studio time six days a week, use of the studio's photography equipment, a page on the studio's website, and participation in the annual Resident Artists Exhibit and Sale.

The Resident Artists program is open only to intermediate and advanced level potters.

Residencies are $100 plus $50 materials fee per calendar month (the materials fee includes 25 lbs of clay, all studio glazes and electric kiln firings)
